One of the true hallmarks of our Christian faith is the regular practice of fellowship and participation in one another’s lives...and for Csehy campers, that translates into FUN! Along with their musical studies, campers have ample time to relax with friends old and new, and participate in activities outside the "concert hall". Our staff organizes daily events designed to help campers unwind and be themselves, whether in athletic activities or playing board games in the lounge. Relaxing walks around Houghton College’s beautiful campus reveal peaceful locations for reading and quiet reflection. Regardless of a camper’s preference, suitable activities await! And with campers attending from all parts of the globe, the opportunities for increased cultural awareness and acceptance are abundant. Many of our camp alumni have found great joy and lasting relationships from participating in the long-standing traditions developed over nearly five decades of camp. From the frivolity of skit night to the formal promenade that begins each concert...from the "Funky Chicken" to the traditional choral benediction that closes each weekly performance, the results are the same: lifetime friendships, countless memories that never fade, and most importantly...a young musician better prepared to serve our Creator!
