Marji Harding has been involved with Csehy Summer School of Music for many years, with her first attendance being as a junior high camper. She began studying oboe at Plumstead Christian School under the enthusiastic instruction of Janet Rawleigh. She later studied with Steve Labiner of the Philadelphia Ballet before pursuing a Music Education degree at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. There she studied under Erin Hannigan, then of the Eastman School of Music. She then earned a Master’s degree in oboe performance at The Hartt School of Music under Humbert Lucarelli. She has attended masterclasses of John Mack, Joe Robinson, Arcadio Minczuk, Tom Stacy, and Humbert Lucarelli. Marji was a music educator in the Hartford, CT area where she also performed and taught private lessons. Marji currently resides in Newark, DE with her husband, Benjamin and their two children, Karsten and Jonathan.
