
Natalie Rudoi is a private violin instructor and professional free-lance musician who currently resides in New Jersey. Ms. Rudoi performs with Symphony in C under music director Rossen Milanov and holds an adjunct faculty position at the Philadelphia Biblical University. Previously, she has held full-time positions with the Canton Symphony Orchestra and the Akron Symphony Orchestra.
Born in Philadelphia, Ms. Rudoi began her violin studies at the age of five. Her former teachers have included Kimberly Fisher, Principal Second of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Yumi Ninomiya Scott, faculty of the Curtis Institute of Music. Ms. Rudoi was a student at Temple University Music Prep’s Center for Gifted Young Musicians where she performed in numerous chamber and solo recitals under the direction of Luis Biava. At the age of 14, she made her solo debut with the Philadelphia Biblical University Orchestra as first-place winner of the Outstanding Young Christian Artist’s Competition. Ms. Rudoi has appeared as soloist with the Kennett Symphony Orchestra, the Manalapan Battleground Symphony Orchestra, and the Cleveland Institute of Music Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Rudoi has received numerous scholarships and awards including the Lou Kotlus Memorial Award for Outstanding Performance, the Tuesday Musical Society Scholarship Award, and the Starling Scholarship Award at ENCORE School for Strings. An avid chamber music performer, Ms. Rudoi took part in the Cleveland Institute of Music’s Intensive String Quartet Program which allowed her to work and participate in master classes with members of the Cavani String Quartet, Takacs Quartet, and Cleveland Quartet.
Natalie Rudoi has received both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in violin performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied under David Cerone, Linda Cerone, and William Preucil, Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra. She has served on the Csehy Summer School of Music faculty since 2008.
